I handle all matters related to divorce, including child custody and visitation/access, child support, spousal support or alimony, and the equitable distribution of marital property. I will also prepare a legal separation agreement or a prenuptial/postnuptial agreement. See my page on divorce to learn more.
Child Custody and Support
I will help you put custody and visitation/access arrangements in place that are in the best interests of your children and that allow you to play a meaningful role in their growth and development. I will also review all proposed child support agreements for compliance with Maryland guidelines, and to confirm that all relevant income is included in the calculation. For more information, please visit my page on child custody and support.
I represent birth parents or adoptive parents, in open and closed adoptions, and in agency or private adoptions. I handle stepparent or grandparent adoptions as well. Visit my page on adoption to learn more.
Criminal and Family Law Appeals
If you have received an unfavorable jury verdict in a criminal or family law matter, I can help you seek a reversal on appeal. I will handle all matters related to your appeal, identifying the issues that are subject to appeal, preparing and filing the appellate brief, and acting as your advocate in oral arguments with the appellate courts.
