goldendoodle dog food

His parents were Gracie and Heston. Well I just wanted to send you a note to let you know how Doodle was doing. He turned 3 years old yesterday. Doodle is a great dog!Very smart maybe too smart!, wonderful with the kids we have a 2 year old and 8 month old now, and is a great watch dog. He is a big boy, weighing in at almost 80lbs. His fur is wavy, but we keep it cut short cooler for him and safer since the baby loves to pet him.

The Goldendoodle is a cross between the purebred Golden Retriever and the Standard Poodle. The breed is currently recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club and the International Canine Association as a Designer Dog Breed. According to Wikipedia, the Goldendoodle originated in 1990’s in North America and Australia. The idea was to create a breed with the great temperament of the family friendly Golden Retriever along with the intelligence of the Poodle. The presence of the Poodle make a highly trainable canine, and the Golden Retriever always aims to please. Just be cautious with stern discipline tactics, as the Goldendoodle may have a hard time letting training failure roll off it’s back.

Although both types of dogs, the Golden Retrievers and the Poodles both have good dispositions by nature, what type of personality your pup will have as it grows into adulthood, is hard to determine. Some of their temperament will be determined by what type the parents have, and which side of the lineage the pup will inherit most. It also determines on how you raise your pup. If you raise him to be obedient, and he’s well socialized, you will have a happier, more well adjusted and happy dog. Breeders should not try to guarantee anything about your black Goldendoodle’s temperament and what they will be like as an adult. But they should be able to tell you what type of temperament the parents both have, and be able to let you see the parents to judge for yourself, whether they seem to be good, well behaved dogs, friendly and gentle.
